Segmented Planetary Thread Rolling Dies for Screw and Nail
Segmented planetary thread rolling dies are specialized tools used in planetary thread rolling machines. These machines are particularly productive for manufacturing screws, nails, and other threaded components. The segmented dies consist of a central rotating die on a fixed axis and one or more stationary concave segment dies located near the outside of the rotary die. The workpiece is rolled between the rotary die and the segment dies, forming threads as it traverses the arc of the segment die
